REQUIEM FOR A DREAM 25th Anniversary

Darren Aronofsky’s second film, REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, is a hellish work of drama about a group of individuals whose lives are torn apart by their drug addictions. While drug addiction films are a dime a dozen, what distinguishes REQUIEM from all of the other films of its kind is its complete commitment to assaulting all of the senses in an effort to bring the audience as close as possible to its characters’ broken minds and lives.
